PT Chitra Paratama in Michelin’s New Product Launch Event

PT Chitra Paratama was one of the Michelin Indonesia’s distributor that was invited to Michelin new product launch event on Tuesday, 6 March 2012 in Singosari Room, Hotel Borobudur Jakarta.

A new product presentation by Mr Alfons Abikaryono as the Product Marketin Manager Truck & Bus Tyre PT Michelin Indonesia was another agenda of the event, but the main feature of the event was marked by curtain opening by Ibu Rachmawati as General Operation Manager Java, Sumatera and East Indonesia Area PT Chitra Paratama and other Michelin distributors.

Michelin XZE3R radial tyre is the latest product for on road, there are two type of Michelin XZE3R 10.00R20 and 11.00R20. With the motto “Strong, Safe and Duratbility, Michelin XZE3R radial gives the new design many advantages such as bead area reinforcement that supported by larger bead wire, wider protective coating and the compound at the bottom which ensure better durability at the treads,  the casing shape that is optimized to provide uniform pressure and steady tread, a high-strenght steel wire inside the tyre to increase the resistance of the side walls at the time of deflection and innovative architecture.

Michelin was establised in 1889 in Clermont Ferrand. France. Growing more than a hundred years to be a leader in tyre industri. Main contribution of Michelin as a tyre company which uphold the corporate responsibilty are to promote the safety at the road, go green, and to develop new technology. Michelin has high dedication to develop tyre with low resistance, which more than 570 million green tyre of Michelin has been sold in the world since 1992, and the impact to more than 9 billion liters of fuel that had saved and 22 tons Co2 emission levels are successfully reduced.
